Notice Regarding an Information Security Incident Involving the PHOBS Reservation Management System

Dear Guests,

We hereby inform you that PHOBS d.o.o., the provider of the external reservation management system used by Club Pannon Camps & Hotels Kft., has notified our company of a security incident.

PHOBS d.o.o. is an IT service provider operating in the tourism and accommodation sector, offering, among other services, reservation management and online booking systems for accommodation providers.

According to information provided by PHOBS d.o.o., on 3 June 2026, unauthorised access may have occurred to certain guest reservation data stored in the reservation management system. According to the information currently provided by PHOBS d.o.o., the incident may potentially affect approximately 100,000 booking records. However, the service provider has stated that, at the current stage of the investigation, it cannot be determined with complete certainty exactly which accommodation providers and which bookings are affected.

Based on the information currently available, the affected data may include guests’ first and last names, contact details, as well as certain information related to their bookings.

According to PHOBS d.o.o., no bank card data has been compromised, and the service provider has stated that such data is not stored in a way that would allow misuse in the context of this incident.

In connection with the incident, there may be a risk that unauthorised persons use the obtained data to send deceptive, fraudulent, or phishing communications to guests. These communications may arrive via email, WhatsApp messages, or other electronic channels, and the perpetrators may misuse the names of accommodation providers, campsites, tourism service providers, or their partners.

Such deceptive or phishing messages typically ask recipients, on behalf of the accommodation provider, to make a payment, confirm credit card information, verify their identity, enter a security code, or click on a suspicious web link. Common warning signs may include an urgent tone, references to short deadlines, threats of booking cancellation, links leading to unofficial websites, and requests for bank card details or security codes.

We ask our guests to treat such requests with extreme caution.

We recommend that you:

  • do not open links or attachments from unverified or suspicious sources;
  • do not provide bank card details, security codes, passwords, or other sensitive information via email, WhatsApp, or on unknown websites;
  • verify the authenticity of any request that asks for payment, confirmation of bank card details, or the provision of personal data;
  • if you receive a suspicious message, do not respond to it and do not click on any links it contains;
  • if you have already entered financial information on a suspicious platform, contact your bank immediately;
  • in case of any suspicious inquiry, contact our accommodation’s official contact channels directly.

It is important to emphasise that the accommodation providers operated by Club Pannon Camps & Hotels Kft. do not request bank card details via WhatsApp messages, do not ask for bank card information or security codes through messaging applications, and do not send payment or verification links leading to unknown external websites via WhatsApp.

Following notification of the incident, our company immediately began taking the necessary measures. An assessment of the case is underway, available information is being collected, consultations with PHOBS d.o.o. are ongoing, our own IT infrastructure is being reviewed, and the reporting to the competent authorities is being prepared.

Based on the information received from PHOBS d.o.o., Club Pannon Camps & Hotels Kft. is also preparing direct electronic notifications for guests who have active, ongoing bookings at the accommodation facilities operated by the company.

Based on the current information, the incident concerns the external reservation management system provider, PHOBS d.o.o. However, the investigation is still ongoing, and therefore our company will update and supplement this information if necessary based on further details received from PHOBS d.o.o.

Our company places the highest importance on the protection of its guests’ personal data.
