Online check-in is available for guests of Thermal Camping Zalakaros. Our aim is to make your arrival calm and smooth from the very first moment, with less administration and more time to relax.

With online check-in, you can conveniently provide the necessary arrival details in advance. This allows for a simple, independent arrival, so your time to unwind in Zalakaros can begin even sooner. Below, we guide you step by step through the online check-in process. We will show you what you need to complete it and what to expect on the day of arrival.

What is online check-in?

Online check-in is a browser-based interface where you can enter the required arrival details in advance. There is no need to download a separate application, it can be easily used on a mobile phone, tablet or computer. Online check-in is part of Thermal Camping’s digital arrival system, allowing the check-in process to be completed before you arrive.

Opening the online check-in

The link to access online check-in will be sent to you by email 4 to 5 days before your arrival. By clicking on the link, the online check-in interface will open in your browser.

Providing guest details

If you are arriving alone:

Simply enter your own details on the platform.

If you are arriving as a group:

The contact person can choose between two options:

• enter the details of all accompanying guests within a single process, or
• send an invitation to the others, who can then complete their own details individually on their own devices.

The system also supports group arrivals, so it is not a problem if not everyone is in the same place when completing the form.

Recording identification documents

A valid identification document, either an ID card or a passport, is required for every arriving guest.
The platform will ask you to take a photo or scan the document and will provide clear instructions on how to capture the correct images. It will guide you through the process step by step.

Taking a facial photo (selfie)

As part of the document verification process, a facial photo (selfie) is taken of each guest. This is required to confirm identity and is carried out in accordance with the applicable legal regulations.

Reviewing and finalising your details

At the end of the process, you will have the opportunity to review the information you have provided. Once finalised, the details are recorded and your arrival is prepared accordingly.

What happens on the day of arrival?

Thermal Camping Zalakaros operates as a digital campsite, so arrival takes place independently. After completing your online booking, you will receive the necessary arrival information by email:

• the access code for entering the campsite
• in the case of an apartment booking, the key safe code

Upon arrival, you can use these codes to enter the campsite and access your accommodation, without the need for an on-site reception or waiting.

Data security

The information provided is handled by the HostWare online check-in system through a secure, encrypted connection. The data is used solely for managing your arrival and fulfilling legal obligations, and it is processed in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations.
